A kitchen, not a scoop and a bucket.

There is a real kitchen at the back of the resort, staffed from six in the morning. Three packages come out of it. The cheapest one is your own food, handled carefully — which is a perfectly good answer, and about a third of our guests choose it. The other two are cooked here. All three are priced per day, portioned by weight, and logged meal by meal so you know at pickup exactly what your dog ate.

Kibble & Comfort

Send your dog's food and we'll handle it properly. Sudden diet changes are the most common cause of an upset stomach in boarding, so if your dog is fussy, sensitive, elderly, or simply happy on what they eat at home, this is the right choice rather than the cheap one. Bags are labelled, stored separately, and scooped to the written amount — not by eye.

The Chef's Table

$29/ day

The package most guests end up on. One protein, one starch, one green vegetable, gently cooked in the morning for that day's service — nothing held over, nothing reheated twice. Chicken or turkey by default; ask for the other if your dog reacts to poultry and we'll move you to the lamb rotation at no extra cost. The evening plate gets a warm bone-broth pour, which is the part fussy eaters tend to respond to.

The Tasting Menu

$44/ day

Three plated services on a rotating protein, built against a dietary profile our vet reviews before the first meal goes out. This is the package for long stays, for dogs on an elimination diet, and for dogs who need the day broken into three smaller meals rather than two larger ones. It is also, frankly, indulgent — the menu card that goes out with the evening photograph is not for the dog's benefit.

A day in the kitchen

When the food actually arrives.

Feeding times are the part owners are most particular about, so they're fixed rather than approximate. If your dog eats at seven and five at home, say so at intake and we'll hold to it — the times below are the house default, not a rule.

Prep and portioning

The day's proteins go on, and every guest's portion is weighed out against their card — body weight, age, and how hard they played yesterday.

7:00First service

Breakfast, 7:00 – 8:30am

Served in the suite, on the floor or elevated as noted. Medications go out with this service. Anything refused is logged immediately rather than at the end of the day.

11:00Treat service

Mid-morning treat

A biscuit or a dehydrated crisp, usually handed out on the way back in from the first play block. Skipped for dogs on a weight plan.

1:00Second service

Midday plate — Tasting Menu only

The middle of the three services. Everyone else gets a water bowl change and a fresh fruit plate in the afternoon instead.

2:00Rest hours

Enrichment bowls

Frozen peanut-banana or broth bowls go into the suites during the quiet block. Twenty minutes of work, then most dogs sleep through the rest of it.

5:00Dinner service

Dinner, 5:00 – 6:30pm

The main plate of the day, finished with the bone-broth pour on the Chef's Table and above. Evening medications go out with it.

Allergies, medication and awkward eaters.

Every intake form is read by the kitchen before the first meal, not filed. If there's an allergy, an intolerance, a medication schedule or a dog who simply won't eat in a strange building, tell us at booking — all four are ordinary and all four are easier to handle on day one than on day three.

Listed on the guest card and checked at every service. Single-protein and grain-free plates are standard, not an upgrade.

Raw and home-prepared diets

Accommodated with 48 hours' notice. Stored separately, thawed to schedule, prepared on dedicated boards.

Medication with meals

Tablets, capsules, liquids and injectables at no extra charge. Each dose is initialled by whoever gave it.

Won't eat away from home

Warm broth, hand-feeding, or a plate left down through the quiet hour. If a dog skips two services in a row we call you.

Weight plans

Send a target and we'll hold portions to it, log daily, and skip the treat services without making a fuss about it.

Puppies and seniors

Three or four smaller services instead of two, at no extra cost on any package. Soaked kibble for older teeth.
